Female and male terminals
1. The material of the female terminal or male terminal shall be copper alloy, or plated copper alloy, nickel, or nickel alloy.
Exception: If the construction of the appliance or appliance permits, the female or male terminals may be of plated plate, or of non-galvanized but corrosion-resistant alloy
2. If the formed female terminal or the trimmed male terminal is in the form of a terminal strip, when the terminal strip is continuously put into the processing tool, the terminal will be crimped and separated from the terminal strip, then in this case, The edges where the terminal and terminal strip meet do not require plating.
2 standard terminals
The material of the standard terminals used in the mechanical properties test in Section 10, the plug-in terminal test and the plug-in-pull test in Section 11 shall be non-plated brass, equivalent to C26000 alloy
Standard terminals used in temperature and thermal cycling tests shall be tin-plated or corrosion-resistant steel with a hardness of 68±5 Rockwell according to the Rockwell 30T hardness standard.
Exception: If the female terminal is only suitable for connecting to the male terminal of copper alloy, then the standard terminal of C26000 copper alloy shall be used for testing. 2.3 According to the Rockwell 30T hardness standard, the hardness of the standard terminal made of brass is 62±7
